Dropbox is a file hosting service operated by Dropbox, Inc., that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, and client software. Dropbox allows users to create a special folder on each of their computers, which Dropbox then synchronises so that it appears to be the same folder (with the same contents) regardless of which computer is used to view it. Files placed in this folder also are accessible through a website and mobile phone applications.

Dropbox, Inc., was founded in 2007 by MIT graduates Drew Houston and Arash Ferdowsi, as a Y Combinator startup company.

Dropbox provides client software for Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, Linux, Google Android, Apple iOS, BlackBerry OS, and web browsers.

Delicious  is a social bookmarking web service for storing, sharing, and discovering web bookmarks. The site was founded by Joshua Schachter in 2003 and acquired by Yahoo! in 2005. By the end of 2008, the service claimed more than 5.3 million users and 180 million unique bookmarked URLs.

There aren't the option of embets,  but you can share those bookmarks by twitter, google plus, facebook an email.

Twitter was created in March 2006 by Jack Dorsey and by July, the social networking site was launched. The service rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with over 500 million registered users as of 2012, generating over 340 million tweets daily and handling over 1.6 billion search queries per day. Since its launch, Twitter has become one of the ten most visited websites on the Internet, and has been described as "the SMS of the Internet." Unregistered users can read tweets, while registered users can post tweets through the website interface, SMS, or a range of apps for mobile devices.

Twitter Inc. is based in San Francisco, with additional servers and offices in New York City, Boston, and San Antonio.

Vimeo is a U.S.-based video-sharing website on which users can upload, share and view videos. It was founded by Jake Lodwick and Zack Klein November 2004. They left the company in 2007 and 2008 respectively. The name Vimeo was created by Lodwick and is a play on the word video, inserting the word "me" as a reference to the site's dedication to user-made video and is also an anagram of the word "movie".

IAC/InterActiveCorp purchased Vimeo in August 2006, as part of its acquisition of Connected Ventures. Dae Mellencamp is the Chief Executive Officer of Vimeo. In January 2009, Mellencamp joined IAC as General Manager of Vimeo. ç

SlideShare is a Web 2.0 based slide hosting service. Users can upload files privately or publicly in the following file formats: PowerPoint, PDF, Keynote orOpenOffice presentations. Slide decks can then be viewed on the site itself, on hand held devices or embedded on other sites. Launched on October 4, 2006, the website is considered to be similar to YouTube, but for slideshows. The website was originally meant to be used for businesses to share slides among employees more easily, but it has since expanded to also become a host of a large number of slides which are uploaded merely to entertain. Although the website is primarily a slide hosting service, it also supports documents, PDFs, videos and webinars. SlideShare also provides users the ability to rate, comment on, and share the uploaded content. The current list of SlideShare's investors includes Venrock, David Siminoff and Dev Khare.

The website gets an estimated 58 million unique visitors a month, and has about 16 million registered users. SlideShare was voted amongst the World's Top 10 tools for education & e-learning in 2010. SlideShare's biggest competitors include scrib.com, Isuu and Dostoc. The idea for Scribd was originally inspired when Trip Adler was at Harvard and had a conversation with his father, John R. Adler, about the difficulties of publishing academic papers. He teamed up with cofounders Jared Friedman and Tikhon Bernstam and they attended Y Combinator in Cambridge in the summer of 2006.

Prezi is a cloud-based (SaaS) presentation software and storytelling tool for exploring and sharing ideas on a virtual canvas. Prezi is distinguished by its Zooming User Interface (ZUI), which enables users to zoom in and out of their presentation media. Prezi allows users to display and navigate through information within a2.5D space on the Z-axis. Prezi was officially established in 2009 by co-founders Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Halacsy and Peter Arvai.

Adam Somlai-Fischer, an architect and visual artist, began using presentations with a zoomable interface in 2001, but each presentation was coded separately. In 2007, Budapest University of Technology assistant professor Peter Halacsy convinced Somlai-Fischer to develop a publicly available ZUI editor. After creating a prototype, they recruited a third entrepreneur, Peter Arvai, to join as CEO to help launch the product and company.

Prezi was launched in April 2009 from Budapest, leading to an investment from TED Conferences and Sunstone Capital.

Picasa is an image organizer and image viewer for organizing and editing digital photos, plus an integrated photo-sharing website, originally created by a company named Lifescape (which at that time may have resided at Idealab) in 2002 and owned by Google since 2004. "Picasa" is a blend of the name of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, the phrase mi casa (Spanish for "my house") and "pic" for pictures (personalized art). In July 2004, Google acquired Picasa from its original author and began offering it as freeware.

Native applications for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac OS X (Intel only) are available through Google Labs. For Linux, Google has bundled Wine with the Windows version to create an installation package rather than write a native Linux version, but this version is severely out of date (the latest Windows version, however, can be run with Wine; see the Linux section). There is also an iPhoto plugin or a standalone program for uploading photos available for Mac OS X 10.4 and later.
